October 27, 1976 Miloš Tanjević, one of the founders and the first president of the Association for Compliance in Business, was born. Miloš was one of the most respected Compliance experts in this region, who greatly influenced the development of the Compliance function, the connection of Compliance professionals in the region and the promotion of Compliance culture as a prerequisite for the sustainable operation of each company and the progress of society as a whole.

Miloš was a visionary who invested his work, time and knowledge in a better future for all of us. Through his work and selfless sharing of knowledge and experience, he shaped new generations of Compliance professionals who now lead Compliance teams in companies in various industries and business sectors.

In his memory, the Association established the Day of Responsible Business in Serbia, which is celebrated on 27 October.

In this period, the Annual Conference of the Association for Compliance in Business is held, which gathers the most important Compliance experts in this part of Europe and is a forum for connection, exchange of ideas and further cooperation. On this occasion, the Association will in the future organize various activities, events and campaigns to promote Compliance, especially focused on the development of young colleagues and those who are just starting their professional development in the Compliance function.
