The Government of the Republic of Serbia on Friday, 25 August 2023 adopted the Personal Data Protection Strategy for the period 2023-2030. year, which was announced today by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Protection of Personal Data.

Bearing in mind the goals of the Strategy, the Commissioner has already started implementing the improvement of the institutional framework by opening regional offices in Novi Sad and Niš. In the coming period, we hope for the adoption of the action plan and positive changes in the legal framework, the necessary changes to the Personal Data Protection Act and the harmonization of individual regulations with the systemic law.

Through its initiatives and activities , the Corporate Compliance Association will continue to contribute to raising awareness of the importance of protecting personal data, improving the legal framework and realizing the goals set by the Strategy.
